NCSL Advisors Online Conference gets student advisors ready for the Fall
semester without the expense and hassles of travel
MADISON, Wis.--(Business Wire)--
The National Conference on Student Leadership (NCSL) today announced the first
and only live online conference for student advisors. Developed in response to
reduced travel budgets in higher education, the 2009 NCSL Advisors Online
Conference delivers unmatched value and convenience in providing student
advisors with the professional development they need, without the expense and
hassles of traveling to an out-of-town conference.

Delivered fully online, the 2009 NCSL Advisors Online Conference takes place
June 12, 2009 and offers leading-edge ideas and proven strategies to help
student advisors be more effective leaders. Conference topics were developed by
the NCSL advisory council based on a survey of student affairs professionals
regarding the challenges they face on college campuses today.

The online conference consists of four 75-minute sessions on such areas as
student advising, developing student leadership skills, and liability and risk
management. Each session is led by an expert presenter and features live
streaming audio, slides, and a designated question and answer period. In
addition, an online discussion forum allows attendees to interact with each
other and the presenters during and after each session.

The four sessions are listed below. For complete descriptions, scheduling, and
