Matthew Klimek Joins Alger as Vice President, Director Regional Marketing

NEW YORK, May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Fred Alger Management, Inc. ("Alger"), a
leading asset management firm, today announced the hiring of Matthew Klimek as
Vice President, Director of Regional Marketing Associates for Alger. In his
new role, Mr. Klimek will be responsible for the coaching, motivating and
productivity of our internal sales force. He will also be an intricate part
of Alger's effort to service and expand existing relationships as well as
develop new relationships with financial advisers across the country.
Matt's 15 years of experience in the industry include, most recently, his
position as Supervisor, Internal Sales with Franklin Templeton Distributors,
Inc. and prior to that Director of Financial Services at Farmers Financial and
Insurance Group.
