SEATTLE, WA, May 11 (MARKET WIRE) --
Dinerware, Inc., a leading developer of restaurant POS (point of sale)
software and solutions, today announced via version 2.8.2, the
availability of the Virtual Client, a SOAP, XML-based Application
Programming Interface (API).

Dinerware's Virtual Client API allows other applications to achieve
real-time access into the Dinerware restaurant POS system for purposes of
integration and customization. Dinerware customers reap the benefits of
selecting the exact extensions and tools appropriate for their business
needs and plans for growth.

"By releasing the Virtual Client API, our customers and certified
third-party solutions are able to extend the capability of the Dinerware
POS system into areas such as labor management, web reporting, online
ordering and enterprise-level integrations," said Carl English, Dinerware
Founder and Chief Technology Officer.

Dinerware provides a core point-of-sale platform built on open
architecture. As a standalone product, Dinerware offers restaurateurs a
stable, intuitive restaurant touch-screen POS computer that IT staff can
customize or that owners can select and install certified software tools,
like DishCloud (online ordering services), TimeForge (labor management),
QSROnline (inventory management, enterprise reporting and payroll
services), and others.

Restaurateur Paul Friedman said, "Peli Peli deployed several technologies
that integrated with Dinerware. The system itself is rock-solid, but the
ability to select a variety of products that easily connect with Dinerware
has given us powerful insights and control over our business health and
future growth."

This move continues to support a key Dinerware initiative to allow
customers to choose from many products that interoperate with the core
Dinerware point-of-sale platform. "The Virtual Client in Dinerware version
2.8.2 enables third-party product integrations so restaurateurs can select
specific functionalities for their businesses and future growth," said
Jeff Riley, Dinerware CEO. "We are excited about our rapidly expanding
portfolio of third-party certifications that extend to restaurateurs
deeper control over their businesses, and open up new revenue
opportunities to restaurateurs."
