Enables customers to easily and cost-effectively extend increased value of their
ERP investments
ORLANDO, Fla.--(Business Wire)--
Kronos® Incorporated today announced that version 6.1 of its Workforce Central®
suite has been certified by SAP. Through the integration provided by Workforce
Central with the SAP ERP Human Capital Management (SAP ERP HCM) solutions,
Kronos is making it easier for organizations to benefit from its completely
automated time and attendance solution.

News Facts

* The certification means that Kronos time and attendance customers who use SAP
ERP HCM for HR now have a compelling new option for integrating data from the
Kronos time and attendance solution with SAP solutions.
* The new interface is packaged as a template that can be leveraged by Workforce
Integration Manager™ (WIM), a Kronos integration tool that makes it easier for
organizations to integrate Kronos applications with existing ERP, payroll, and
human resources systems.
* WIM leverages the SAP NetWeaver® technology platform and integrates directly
with the SAP ERP application, is 100-percent web compatible, and supports both
batch and real-time interfaces between Kronos and other applications.
* As a result of this certified interface, implementation time and effort is
reduced and customers benefit from a pre-tested and pre-packaged integration
offering.
* Changes to either SAP or Kronos data structures are supported through updates
to the interface template itself.
* Many of the world`s leading organizations, across industries such as
healthcare, government, education, and manufacturing, use Kronos time and
attendance solutions to extend the value of their ERP investments. For example,
a large manufacturer achieved $500,000 in annual savings with a single change of
standardizing rounding policies for time-clock punches company-wide. In another
case, a global pharmaceutical company achieved 100-percent accuracy in paychecks
for its 28,000 employees worldwide through the use of Workforce Central
integrated with the HR and payroll capabilities of SAP ERP HCM.
* A study conducted by Nucleus Research found that customers use Kronos
solutions to further extend the value of their original investments in SAP
solutions. Customers using Kronos solutions and SAP applications have cited
lower software costs, enhanced data acquisition, and less customization.
