Encourages the Public to Get Involved
WASHINGTON--(Business Wire)--
The Leon H. Sullivan Foundation announced its support of award winning actress
Mia Farrow (Rosemary`s Baby, the Omen, the Ex, Be Kind, Rewind). Farrow, who was
selected in 2008 as one of Time Magazines Most Influential People, began a water
only fast on April 27th to illustrate her plea to the U.S. Government to give
aid workers access back into Darfur without restriction. She currently updates
her progress on her website, www.miafarrow.org.

"Mia Farrow is a true testament of courage, just visit her website and see for
yourself." said Hope Masters, President and CEO of the Sullivan Foundation.
"This call to activism speaks for so many voices that continually go unheard."
We admire her and will lend our support to her in any way we can."

Ms. Farrow is one of several honorees at this year`s Leon H. Sullivan Summit
Awards celebration being held on August 27, 2009 at the Kennedy Center for the
Performing Arts. Farrow is not new to activism; she has stood at the forefront
of advocacy for the underprivileged in Africa for years. She has a special
interest in the conflicted regions of Africa and works tirelessly to raise
awareness and funds for children in those afflicted areas.

"I encourage everyone who reads this to call the White House and demand action,"
stated Masters. "People are suffering, people need help. If the lines are busy,
keep calling. Our President will listen."

The Leon H. Sullivan Foundation is a 501c3 designed to carry on the spirit and
