S&T Bancorp Inc. Announces Appointment of New Senior Vice President, Chief
Audit Executive

INDIANA, Pa., May 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- S&T Bank (Nasdaq: STBA), a
full-service financial institution with branch locations in 10 Pennsylvania
counties, is pleased to announce the appointment of LaDawn Yesho as the bank's
new senior vice president, chief audit executive.  In her new role, Yesho will
be responsible for developing and managing S&T Bank's risk-based internal
audit program.

Yesho most recently served as vice president, financial manager with The PNC
Financial Services Group of Pittsburgh, PA, where she was responsible for
managing the overall performance of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX)
Section 404 financial control evaluation.  Prior to that, Yesho was an audit
senior manager for Ernst & Young LLP of Pittsburgh, where she managed overall
activities for audit engagements in the financial services industry with a
career-long focus on publicly-traded banks.

Yesho is a Certified Public Accountant.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts in
Accounting and finance from the University of Pittsburgh - Johnstown,
graduating with honors.
