Vittorio Perona to Join Greenhill as a Managing Director

LONDON, May 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Greenhill & Co., Inc. (NYSE: GHL),
a leading independent investment bank, announced today that Vittorio Perona
will join the firm as a Managing Director based in London and will lead the
firm's European Energy and Utilities team.

Mr. Perona, 39, has been leading the Global Power, Natural Resources and
Chemical Group of Dresdner Kleinwort where he has been a Managing Director for
the last six years. Mr. Perona joined Kleinwort Benson in London as a
graduate trainee in 1992 and has worked in both London and Brazil for the
Group.
