EZTEC - Improved Sales from Previous Quarter and Net Income of R$39.4 Million
in 1Q09
SAO PAULO, May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- EZTEC S.A. announces today its results for
the 1Q09.
Highlights
-- Net Revenue in 1Q09 was R$104.5 million, growing by 69.4% in relation
to
the same quarter of last year.
-- Gross Income in 1Q09 was R$44.8 million, up 52.8% in relation to 1Q08,
for gross margin of 42.9%.
-- EBITDA in 1Q09 was R$36.3 million, up 148.8% against 1Q08, for EBITDA
margin of 34.8%.
-- Net Income in 1Q09 was R$39.4 million, 71.5% higher than in 1Q08, for
net margin of 37.7%.
-- Net Cash closed 1Q09 at R$160.5 million and performing receivables
from
real estate projects totaled R$78.1 million.
-- In 1Q09, EZTEC launched the commercial project Superia Moema Corporate
in the city of Sao Paulo, with own potential sales (PSV) of R$54.4
million.
-- Despite the lower launch volume in 1Q09, EZTEC's share of
Contracted Sales totaled R$69.6 million, increasing 45.9% from 4Q08.
-- On March 31, 2009, EZTEC's land bank represented R$3.4 billion in
own PSV. The average land bank acquisition cost was equivalent to 8.6%
of PSV.
