WARSAW May 11 (Reuters) - Polish builder PBG PBGG.WA reported a 53-percent jump in first-quarter net profit on Monday, beating forecasts on the back of cost cuts and more lucrative contracts.

Poland's largest listed construction company earned 23 million zlotys ($7.2 million) compared to 19 million seen in a Reuters poll. Revenue rose to 349 million zlotys, slightly better than 341 million predicted by analysts.
