Indian shares fall 2.5 pct early after exit polls

MUMBAI May 14 (Reuters) - Indian shares fell more than 2.5 percent in early trade on Thursday, after exit polls at the end of national elections indicated a weak coalition government may come to power.
At 9:56 a.m. (0426 GMT), the 30-share BSE index .BSESN was down 268 points at 11,751.65, with 29 stocks declining.
The 50-share NSE index .NSEI was down 2 percent at 3,561. (Reporting by Pratish Narayanan)
