ATHENS May 15 (Reuters) - Greece will allow short selling on the Athens stock exchange from June 1 but such orders will be flagged and meet an uptick rule, the securities regulator said on Friday.

"Short-selling orders ... must be entered at a price higher than the last deal on the exchange (uptick rule)," the capital market commission said in a statement. (Reporting by George Georgiopoulos)
