At the ACORD/LOMA Conference, Guidewire Software®, a leading global provider of

received several awards in the 2009 Vanguards in Insurance Practices (VIP)
insurance industry technology solution provider ranking. Ranking results were
based exclusively on votes received from insurance carriers and agents as
announced by Insurance Networking News (INN) and Celent. For the second
consecutive year, Guidewire was awarded First Place: Point Insurance Solutions.
Guidewire was also awarded First Place: Integrated Insurance Systems. In the
three years of the Vanguards in Insurance rankings, Guidewire has consistently
been named as one of the top three winners in these categories.

The VIP survey was conducted by Insurance Networking News magazine and analyst
firm, Celent. This market survey was exclusively driven by insurance companies
in the United States and Canada who ranked their experiences with insurance
technology providers across five categories, including: Integrated Insurance
Systems, Point Insurance Solutions, Enterprise Technology, Platform Technology
and IT Services.
