Promosome LLC and Lonza Biologics Announce Evaluation Contract for Promosome's
Translation Enhancing Elements (TEEs)

NEW YORK, May 18, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Promosome LLC, a biotechnology
company specializing in technologies related to the regulation of protein
synthesis through translation initiation, today announced the signing of a
non-exclusive technology evaluation contract with Lonza Biologics. Lonza is a
recognized leader providing a large repertoire of contract manufacturing and
enabling technologies to the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry.

Under the terms of the agreement, Lonza will evaluate Promosome's Translation
Enhancing Elements (TEEs) in combination with its proprietary GS(tm) expression
technology. Promosome's TEEs are synthetic messenger RNA (mRNA) sequences that
can be used to greatly enhance protein expression in a variety of eukaryotic
cells. TEEs are expected to be highly complementary to Lonza's proprietary
GS(tm) expression technology.
