CHICO, CA, May 18 (MARKET WIRE) --
Springboard Biodiesel, a privately held company focused on the small
scale biodiesel processing market, announced today that it has developed
patent-pending biodiesel processing acceleration technology that doubles
the capacity of its BioPro biodiesel processors. Springboard Biodiesel's
processing line will now comfortably serve users with an even broader
range of processing needs -- up to 36,000 gallons annually -- while
providing compelling economic returns.

Using patent-pending fluid separation technology, the Company is now able
to provide current and future BioPro users the ability to halve the
processing time and double the capacity of every BioPro 190 or BioPro 380
sold after January 1, 2007.

By incorporating its proprietary and patent-pending fluid separation
process into its product line, Springboard Biodiesel will now offer two
new products that will enable the rapid separation of biodiesel from other
fluids and thereby simplify and accelerate the overall biodiesel
processing
experience:

-- The 'INCOSEP' which enables rapid settling of bulk glycerin from raw
    biodiesel
-- The 'INCOSEP-Pro' which both rapidly settles bulk glycerin and rapidly
separates wash water from biodiesel while preventing emulsions.

"We are tremendously excited," said Mark Roberts, Springboard
Biodiesel's Chief Executive Officer. "We have taken our industry-leading
BioPro biodiesel processor line, and made it even more compelling. By
doubling the production capacity while maintaining the ASTM quality of
the finished fuel, we are able to both expand our target market and add
more value to our traditional small-scale customers. Importantly, we have
gone to great lengths to ensure that our technology is backwards
compatible, so that every Springboard Biodiesel customer who wants to
will be able to upgrade."

Both INCOSEP devices significantly reduce processing time for biodiesel
production in BioPro processors. Standard BioPro processors are rated to
repeatably produce ASTM-fuel every 48 hours. Half of this time (24 hours)
is dedicated to esterification and transesterification reactions, as well
as glycerin settling. The other half of this time is dedicated to washing
(1 spray wash and 2 turbulent washes) as well as evaporative drying.

The INCOSEP unit reduces the esterification, transesterification, and
glycerin settling processes to 8 hours, rather than 24.

The INCOSEP-Pro also accelerates the esterification, transesterification
and glycerin settling process to 8 hours. However, it also reduces the
washing and drying processes to 12 hours, rather than 24. Additionally,
because of the INCOSEP-Pro's effectiveness in preventing emulsions, all
three washes are now turbulent washes, in which the fuel is stirred into a
homogenous mixture with the wash water before the water is quickly settled
out and removed, thus exceeding the thoroughness of the already stringent
water wash.

With the INCOSEP-Pro unit the entire biodiesel production process is
reduced from 48 hours to only 20 hours.

Mr. Roberts concluded, "By maintaining our commitment to providing
ASTM-spec processes and enhancing the production experience, Springboard
Biodiesel is continuing its efforts to support the overall biodiesel
industry with the most innovative and advanced family of small-scale
processing solutions."

Springboard Biodiesel, LLC, based in Chico, California, is an established
provider of renewable energy products that is committed to supporting the
broad use of affordable, renewable biodiesel solutions that are
economically and environmentally attractive. The Company's family of
industrial-grade BioPro(TM) processors and SpringPro(TM) wash systems
enable the fully automated production of ASTM D6751 quality biodiesel fuel
from a variety of sustainable sources. Because the majority of the
Company's customers are using non-food sources and existing waste streams
as feedstock, Springboard's BioPro processors and dry wash equipment are
at the forefront of renewable and sustainable energy alternatives today,
and are providing our customers with real economic and environmental
benefits today.
