JobooKit Technologies is Turning out to be the Standout Start Up Company for
2009, With its Web 2.0 Applications and Human Resources Services
RA'ANANA, Israel, May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- The company's offices operate
around the clock - and throughout with attention to detail and a dedication
that is awe-inspiring. The staff is young - the dynamic CEO is a tireless 35
year old. Dawn to dusk, that's the routine for this ambitious firm.
JobooKit Technologies is turning out to be the standout start up company
for 2009 in the Israeli market, with its Web 2.0 applications and human
resources services. The Company has recently successfully completed the
development of an algorithm, as part of its SkillIQ.com offering - a web
based application designed to assess and rank job applicants in accordance
with their respective professional knowledge and skills. The assessment and
ranking is performed at the pre-interview stage by means of a set of online
human resources placement and management interfaces, which the company is
preparing to launch. Groundbreaking technology when compared to traditional
internet job sites which merely forward a CV. JobooKit Technologies is
developing the unique SkillIQ internet platform, which will soon launch a
selection, assessment and recruitment of candidates tool, founded upon
artificial intelligence and Web 2.0. The company was established eight months
ago by Arik Filstein, as a dominant player in the Israeli HR and IT sectors.
The company recently reported the finalization of a seed round of
financing, having raised $600,000 from private investors in an exceptionally
short 45-day period. The company is now exploring a further round of
financing from local and overseas sources.
The Technology blends in well with the vision of the CEO, with his
intimate knowledge of the needs of the dominant players in the HR market, the
employers, the candidates and recruitment agencies. As opposed to other
ventures where the entrepreneur is the inventor, things are a little bit
different at JobooKit. Filstein came from this sector and feels right at home
in it. He has a sense for what's around the corner, understands the demands
of the market and identifies fully with the business and marketing content
sectors.
But what is SkillIQ.com all about? Just have a look at the name. A riddle
and its solution all bound up in one. The application is broad based with a
view to an efficient involvement throughout the assessment and recruitment of
candidates process.
When asked to point out a similar platform, Arik smiles and says that "we
didn't get into this to copy anyone. We got together to bring about the next
generation and together with the candidates and the employers, to change the
way they view the internet and make them realize the enormous contribution it
can make in these trying times of a looming global jobs crisis."
We pressed the point and asked what made their technology unique? "We
have indeed leveraged the technology to bring about a revolutionary concept,
in whose success we believe," said the chairman and CEO, "but one must treat
the matter broadly and begin with the methodical characterization, it's
conceptual and cultural. For years I have been involved in and have witnessed
means with which to improve the recruitment process and it must be said that
that is what prompted me to start JobooKit."
"Everyone can see, especially in the midst of a crisis affecting the
world and the global jobs market, that there is a lack of technology for the
effective management of the assessment and recruitment process. I am not at
liberty to expand on it at the moment, but we have developed an assessment
tool, technology that is a first of its kind, which, with the assistance of
artificial intelligence, is capable of assessing and ranking software
developers online, in a manner which truly reflects their knowledge of the
programming language in which they specialize. It goes without saying that,
as a result of such assessment, we are capable of matching the candidate to a
position which suits their skills," he says.
Filstein says that "we have finalized the system for the assessment of
hi-tech jobs by means of groundbreaking technology. All the amazing
interfaces that we have built, as well as other surprises which we will
reveal at the launch, will assist candidates to find work more efficiently
while maintaining high search standards and matching them to positions. No
more pointless searches. Our guiding principles are founded upon, amongst
others, a perfect match between candidate and employer."
