MRV Optical Networking Experts to Speak at Light Reading POTS Event

Officer, Guy Avidan, and Chief Technical Officer for Optical Networks, Brandon
Pemberton, will present at the Light Reading Packet Optical Transport Evolution
event scheduled for May 19, 2009. MRV is a leading networking company with a
full line of packet-optical transport (POTS), carrier Ethernet, 40G networking
and out-of-band networking products.

Avidan will participate in the "Understanding the Role of
Connection-Oriented-Ethernet (COE) in Packet-Optical Transport" panel moderated
by Sterling Perrin, senior analyst for Heavy Reading. This panel discussion will
cover COE technologies and the standards progress, test/trial activity and
real-world deployment in carrier networks.

Pemberton will participate in the "Packet-Optical Transport for Mobile
Operators" panel moderated by Derek Medlin, senior analyst for Pyramid Research.
This session will cover the needs of mobile operators and how POTS-based
networks can help them to meet increased customer demand for high-bandwidth
mobile data.
