BancTec Launches Consulting Management Services to Provide Decision Support in
Finance and Working Capital Management Optimization

Michael J. Alfonsi Tapped to Lead New Group

DALLAS, May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- BancTec, Inc., a global provider of advanced,
high-volume, document and payment processing solutions and services, today
announced that it has created an independent working capital management and
finance transformation advisory service called BancTec Consulting Management
Services (CMS).  The service will assist clients working to institute
treasury, risk management and working capital management best practices.

Michael J. Alfonsi, a recognized industry expert in repositioning finance for
decision support and leadership, will lead BancTec CMS.  Mr. Alfonsi has more
than 20 years of experience helping companies to improve their treasury, risk
management and working capital management efforts.  He joins BancTec after 8
years as managing director with AnalyticResults, LLC.

Prior to his advisory roles, Alfonsi held positions in corporate finance and
in banking.  He is currently the knowledge content director for the executive
education programs in finance and treasury at the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill/Kenan-Flagler Business School, the University of California at
Berkeley/Haas Business School, and Penn State University/Great Valley. Alfonsi
holds several professional certifications including certifications in
workplace performance, risk management and treasury management.
