TORONTO, May 18 (MARKET WIRE) --
W2 Energy (PINKSHEETS: WTWO), a sustainable energy company, is pleased to
announce that its Waste to Energy Plants are an excellent solution to a
serious disposal problem worldwide. Even worse than old tires for
disposal is the disposal of lead acid batteries ("Car Batteries") and
disposable batteries. The W2 plant processes the lead workings of old car
batteries with a lead pellet as the end product, which can be sold. The
acid and plastic casings are broken down with the W2 plant separating the
sulfur and the syngas being used to power the plant.
These plants are closed system plants so that there are NO emissions
whatsoever to contaminate the air. This technology has been proven to
work. It was used to process the clean up an old battery manufacturing
facility and did a complete clean up including removing battery fragments
and acid from the soil. The soil was completely reclaimed once it had be
processed using the W2 technology. Independent reports verifying the
results were prepared at the end of the project. This test and clean up
of the old battery site established the fact that all lead could be
removed from the contaminated soils using W2 technology and equipment.
In the Caribbean, the disposal of old car batteries is a significant
problem. Due to the environment in the Caribbean, the effective life of a
car battery is very limited and so they are replaced more than is the norm
in colder climates. W2 Energy is offering a solution to this problem for
the first time. Presentations are being made by its marketing team on a
continuous basis related to disposal of tires and batteries while
generating sulfur free diesel and electricity in a closed system with no
emissions. At the same time the W2 plant is able to clean up sanitary
landfill sites.
The Company anticipates that as a result of the positive response to the
capabilities of its equipment and technology that it will be a dominant
force related to clean up of waste in the Caribbean as well as other
serious environmental issues.
