SAN FRANCISCO, May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- PhilippeBecker (www.beckersf.com), a San
Francisco branding and packaging agency, today announced is has been named
"Green Business of the Year" by the San Francisco Small Business Network
(www.sfsbn.org). The award demonstrates that "green" business is smart and
profitable for small companies.

PhilippeBecker analyzed its water and energy use, equipment, lighting, and
cleaning supplies.  It then instituted changes that resulted in: reduced use
of supplies, reuse of items when practical, increased recycling, and more
rigorous purchasing standards for environmentally-friendly products.  These
measures have benefited the agency's bottom line, decreasing paper use by
half, and electricity and water use significantly.
