Agriculture Officials To Mark Emerald Ash Borer Awareness Week

Department of Agriculture Deputy Secretary Michael Pechart will announce
Emerald Ash Borer Awareness Week at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, during the
Pennsylvania Envirothon at Bald Eagle State Park on Route 150 in Howard,
Centre County.  

Pechart and department staff will provide updates on the spread of the Emerald
Ash Borer, a tree-destroying beetle, and upcoming statewide survey efforts.
