Julie Fuller Jones Named Bank's Vice President of SBA Lending

DALLAS, May 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Julie Fuller Jones has joined
Southwest Securities, FSB, the commercial banking subsidiary of SWS Group,
Inc. (NYSE: SWS), as Vice President of SBA Lending.

"We are excited to have Julie join the SBA Sales Team," Michael Signorelli,
Senior Vice President of SBA Sales said.  "She has proven experience
generating, structuring and closing SBA transactions. She will be a great
addition to the bank."

Jones comes to Southwest Securities, FSB from Comerica Bank in Dallas, where
she was responsible for SBA as well as conventional business transactions. She
also has worked at Compass Bank, The Associates (currently CitiGroup
Financial), and Bank United.  Jones has 22 years of successful sales,
marketing and business development experience.  

As a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in advertising,
Jones began her career in marketing and public relations at 3M Minnesota
Mining & Manufacturing and Hampton Roads Magazine. Jones also attended the
Parsons School of Design to study environment design and the University of
Texas at Arlington, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in advertising
communication with a minor in graphic design.
