weekend as Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa celebrated the
official Grand Opening of its new, all-suite resort expansion - the Italian
Village & enhanced Pirates Island Waterpark. Beaches Resorts, voted the

lots of fun in the sun! The Grand Opening Celebration was host to Hollywood's

The four-day celebration kicked-off on Thursday with a VIP Barefoot Beach
welcome party. Friday's events included a Sesame Street Character Breakfast,
a cruise on Beaches Resorts' exclusive Kitty Katt catamaran, and an evening
Pirate-themed Wet Fete at the Pirates Island Waterpark with mouth-watering
food, exotic libations, dancing and entertainment featuring a performance by
teen and tween pop sensation the Clique Girlz. The festivities continued
Saturday with a Surf Simulator experience, Scratch DJ sessions with the
legendary DMC of Run DMC, an evening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Masquerade
Carnavale with special performances. Throughout the overall weekend, guests
