ACG Minnesota Announces May 2009 Luncheon Featuring a Panel Discussion on Buying Distressed Assets

MINNEAPOLIS--(Business Wire)--
The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Minnesota Chapter invites all members
of the Minneapolis/St. Paul media to attend this month`s chapter meeting,
featuring a panel of local experts on buying distressed assets in today`s
economic environment.
Panelists include Jeff Werbalowsky, Co-Chief Executive Officer and Senior
Managing Director of Houlihan Lokey. Jeff is also Co-Head of the Financial
Restructuring Group which he co-founded in 1988 and has led many of the firm`s
largest restructuring engagements. Daryle L. Uphoff, Managing Partner of
Lindquist & Vennum will represent debtors, secured lenders, unsecured creditor
committees, bondholder committees, and equity committees in numerous workouts
and reorganizations in the United States. The final panelist will include Steven
H. Rosen, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Resilience Capital Partners, which
provides acquisition capital for underperforming companies and companies in
bankruptcy.
The purpose of the discussion will be centered on the recent increase in the
number of M&A transactions for distressed assets.
