Number One Composite Scores with Medical Strategic Planning

Nihon Kohden America, Inc. recently was ranked as the number one Service Quality
Vendor with an overall composite score of 8.6 in terms of service and overall
value for Patient Monitoring systems, according to the Medical Strategic
Planning (MSP) 2009 Service Quality Benchmark.Nihon Kohden positioned first
place in 9 out of 11 categories that reflect on a strong commitment to service
and quality delivery.This is the fourth consecutive year that Nihon Kohden has
scored first or second place in nearly all categories.

MSP collected data in two additional categories, of which Nihon Kohden scored
the highest overall in brand loyalty and service support.Indicating a leading
trend in brand and purchase loyalty, 75% of Nihon Kohden purchasers would
definitely recommend Nihon Kohden to other hospitals.Additionally, purchasers
indicated that 95% of problems were fixed on the first visit when a service call

percentage of problems fixed first visit.
