U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Awards $20 Million Design-Build Contract to SAIC

Company to Design, Engineer and Construct a Cargo Aircraft Hangar at Robins
Air Force Base

SAN DIEGO and MCLEAN, Va., May 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Science
Applications International Corporation (NYSE: SAI) announced today that it has
been awarded a contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Savannah, Ga.,
District to design, engineer and construct a cargo aircraft hangar at Robins
Air Force Base (AFB), Ga. The award has a 21-month period of performance and a
contract value of more than $20 million. Work will be performed by SAIC's
design-build subsidiary, The Benham Companies LLC and managed out of the
Atlantic Regional Office located in Charlotte, NC.

The contract includes the architectural design, engineering and construction
of a single story, multi-bay cargo aircraft hangar, including personnel
offices and work spaces. The project will incorporate Leadership in Energy and
Environmental Design (LEED) certification, utilities infrastructure, fire
protection and alarm systems, and Department of Defense force
protection/antiterrorism measures.
