Demonstration Showcases Adoption-Readiness of 10 Gigabit Twisted Pair
Connectivity in High-Density Networking Equipment for Data Center and Enterprise
Applications
LAS VEGAS--(Business Wire)--
MellanoxTechnologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ:MLNX) (TASE:MLNX), a leading supplier of
end-to-end connectivity solutions for data center servers and storage, today
announced that its showcasing a complete end-to-end 10GBASE-T ecosystem at booth
#2307 with Arista Networks and Supermicro. The combination of Mellanox`s
dual-port ConnectX ENt 10GBASE-T adapter cards, Arista 7100T switches, and Intel
Xeon 5500 Processor series-based Supermicro 2U Twin2 ("Twin squared")
SuperServers improves total cost of ownership (TCO) by reducing cabling, power
consumption, and space usage, while enabling highly-computational machines at
ten gigabit performance.

"Building upon our successful 1U Twin technology, Supermicro high-density 2U
Twin2 SuperServers achieve breakthrough x86 server performance-per-watt and
satisfy the ever-increasing efficiency, density and low-TCO demands of today`s
high performance computing (HPC) clusters and data centers," said Don Clegg,
vice president of marketing and business development at Supermicro. "When
equipped with Mellanox`s 10GBASE-T LAN cards, these systems present an optimized
data center solution that helps customers achieve higher bandwidth connectivity
and maximum computing power per rack, while also minimizing energy consumption
and preserving the environment."

"With virtualization and server consolidation as its main pillars, a Cloud Data
Center design requires a higher throughput and lower latency network solution,"
said Mansour Karam, director of business development at Arista Networks, Inc.
"Arista 7100T 10GBASE-T switches are at the heart of this solution, seamlessly
providing a 10-fold increase in network bandwidth without requiring new cabling.
We are pleased to take part in this demonstration, which shows the availability
of an end-to-end 10GBASE-T ecosystem today."

"10GBASE-T brings simplicity to enterprises of all sizes through familiar
management, increased bandwidth, and a large multi-vendor ecosystem," stated
John Monson, vice president of marketing at Mellanox Technologies. "We believe
as the 10GBASE-T ecosystem grows, it will help accelerate the volume deployment
of affordable, high-performance 10 Gigabit Ethernet solutions for virtualized
and cloud data centers."

Mellanox`s ConnectX ENt dual-port 10GBASE-T adapter card using Teranetics PHY
technology, delivers high-throughput, low-latency, and high availability with
low power to accelerate today`s data center. ConnectX ENt supports leading
virtualization acceleration features such as NetQueue and SR-IOV and I/O
consolidation fabrics with Data Center Bridging (DCB) fabric enhancements and
Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE). For more information, visit Mellanox at
