AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS, May 19 (MARKET WIRE) --

Amsterdam, 19 May 2009 --- AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V.'s
("AMG," EURONEXT AMSTERDAM: "AMG") 53.8% owned subsidiary, Timminco

silicon production process. The plaintiff will need to seek leave or
permission of the court to bring the class action under Secondary Market
Disclosure provisions of the Securities Act. Timminco intends to
vigorously defend these allegations and the plaintiff's attempt to get
court approval to proceed with the action.
