TeamF1 and RMI Partnership Expands to Bring Additional Performance to SMB
Applications for Leading-Edge SMB Networking Security Devices

At Interop 2009, RMI Corporation, a leading provider of high-performance
processors for communication and media rich applications, announced that TeamF1,
a leader in high performance embedded networking and security software, plans to
support RMI`s Multi-core processor family, the XLP Processor. Announced earlier
today, the XLP Processor is the industry`s highest performing processor core and
Multi-core processor family driving unmatched system and performance
scalability. 

The superscalar XLP Processor family drives performance levels at greater than
2.0 GHz and offers a 3x performance per watt improvement over previous
generation processors. This latest offering will bring about the most advanced
and most highly integrated multi-core processor in the industry while
maintaining the innovative multi-threading capabilities of RMI`s existing
processor families. The XLP Processor family, much like the XLR and XLS
Processors, combined with TeamF1`s SMBware family of embedded Software will take
advantage of the innovative threading of the XLP Processor family bringing the
ultimate in performance to Leading-Edge SMB Networking Security Devices.
