CHANGE Illinois! and Illinois Reform Commission Urge General Assembly to Pass

Patrick Collins, Chairman of the Illinois Reform Commission, and Coalition of
Civic, Business, and Non-Profit Groups Call for Action

WHAT: At a Wednesday press conference in advance of testimony set for Friday
before the Senate Executive Committee, Patrick Collins, a former federal
prosecutor and Chair of the Illinois Reform Commission, will hold a press
conference to discuss strong statewide support for reforms pending in the
General Assembly. Also at the press conference, members of the CHANGE
Illinois! coalition will join Collins in support of campaign contribution
limits.

WHO: In addition to PATRICK COLLINS, the press conference will feature members
of the IRC and CHANGE Illinois!, a statewide coalition representing more than
2.2 million members. Participants will include PETER BENSINGER, former
Administrator of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency; CYNTHIA CANARY, Director,
Illinois Campaign for Political Reform; BOB GALLO, State Director, AARP
