Pennsylvania National Guard to Host Drug Interception Exercise at Willow Grove

The Pennsylvania National Guard's Northeast Counterdrug Training Center will
host "Desert Snow," the nation's most comprehensive vehicle highway
interdiction training course for law enforcement personnel, starting at 11
a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, at the Willow Grove Air Reserve Station, 1151
Fairchild St., in Willow Grove, Montgomery County.

Law enforcement personnel from various local, state and federal agencies will
participate in training focusing on hundreds of concealment methods commonly
used on highways by drug smugglers and terrorists. The exercise will utilize
approximately 2,000 pounds of fake narcotics and explosives simulations.
