FDIC Orders Online Bank Auction of Assets from Omni National Bank in Tampa,
Dallas, Houston, Including Collection of Floridian Art, Photography
TAMPA, Fla., May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Penny Worley Auctioneers
(www.worleyauctioneers.com) announces the absolute online auction of assets
from the Omni National Bank receivership, according to Jerry Jenkins.
Assets in this online auction include: Floridian art, computers, office
furniture, phone equipment, office equipment, decorative items, lighting,
electronics, and banking equipment.
"There are some really nice pieces of original Floridian art, as well as
photographs in this bank auction," said Jenkins. "All of these assets are
being sold absolute. That means they sell regardless of price to the highest
bidders."
Among the paintings are works by John Beard, Dee Beard Dean and Elya DeChino.
Photographs include Florida landmarks and large format photography by Clyde
Butcher.
Jenkins said the assets were ordered sold by the Federal Deposit Insurance
Corporation (FDIC) for Omni National bank. In 2008, Penny Worley Auctioneers
was named the official auctioneer for the FDIC.
The online auction is open to the public. Bidding ends May 22. Bidders must
