    Companhia de Transmissao de Energia Eletrica Paulisita (CTEEP) is majority
owned by the ISA Group, one of the leading players in the electricity and
telecommunications sectors in Latin America.  CTEEP is the largest private
sector electricity transmission concessionaire in Brazil, accounting for the
transmission of 30% of all the energy produced in the country and 60% of the
energy consumed in Brazil's Southeastern region.
    With installed capacity of 43,069 MVA, CTEEP is responsible for the
transmission of 100% of the electricity consumed in the state of Sao Paulo, a
