Mimecast Named in `Outsourcing email archiving: 2009` report by leading analyst firm

Increase in companies moving from in-house to outsourced email archiving

Mimecast has been included in the list of outsourced email archiving service
providers in the Gartner "Outsourcing E-Mail Archiving: 2Q09 Update" by Adam W.
Couture, on April 27th 2009. The report examines the benefits and capabilities
of today's hosted e-mail archiving solutions and profiles key service providers
in this market.

According to the Gartner report, "Organizations should consider using service
providers to help them quickly implement interim or permanent solutions without
heavy upfront investments in technology or internal expertise. Consider using a
service provider for not just archiving, but also for email continuity, virus
protection and spam filtering."

Given the increase in email volumes and sizes of attachments, the Gartner report
