Indonesia air force says 78 die in plane crash

JAKARTA May 20 (Reuters) - An Indonesian air force spokesman said on Wednesday that 78 people had been killed after a C-130 Hercules transport plane crashed in East Java.

Spokesman Bambang Soelistyo told Elshinta radio the air force would form a team to investigate the crash of the plane, which had 11 crew and 99 passengers on board. (Reporting by Olivia Rondonuwu; Writing by Ed Davies; Editing by Alex Richardson)
