'Salty' Celebrity Duo Enters Los Angeles Marathon To Call Attention To
'Plumping'

The Foster Imposters Try to Make the Grade at the L.A. Marathon

LOS ANGELES, May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Today's Los Angeles Marathon had two
surprise entries, the Foster Imposter chickens, the infamous and
hugely-plumped characters from the Foster Farms television commercials. They
took to the race course in an attempt to pass themselves off as fresh, natural
and never "plumped" Foster Farms chickens, but only made it two blocks. Foster
Farms entered the duo as part of its "Say No To Plumping" campaign to raise
awareness of a little-known food fact: "plumped" or saltwater-injected chicken
that costs consumers their health and money. The Imposters and a group of 20
adorned in "plumped" Foster Imposter gear, informed, entertained and
distributed "Say No To Plumping" information to race finishers and spectators
at the post-marathon Finish Line Festival. The event was the Imposters' second
stop on Foster Farms' "Say No To Plumping" world tour. More information about
the cause is available at www.Saynotoplumping.com.
