STELLENBOSCH, South Africa--(Business Wire)--
MiX Telematics (JSE:MIX) has been announced as winner of the European Commercial
Vehicle Telematics Product Line Strategy Award, an accolade presented annually
by global growth partnership company Frost & Sullivan. The award recognises MiX
Telematics' leadership in its field and its skill in developing tailor-made
solutions to match the needs of a broad spectrum of clients.

While serving a wide range of consumer and commercial segments, MiX Telematics'
key markets are the goods and passenger transport, construction, oil and gas,
service management and utilities sectors.

"We are delighted to receive this award, which confirms our ability to offer a
broad range of products and services to our customers across all sectors,"
comments Terry Buzer, Managing Director of MiX Telematics Europe, who collected
the award on behalf of the company at the Frost & Sullivan Awards Ceremony held
in London recently. "We have recently adopted MiX Telematics as our unified
global brand, having built our reputation in Europe over the past decade under
the Siemens VDO name. Therefore, the timing of this award and endorsement of our
strategy is excellent news for us."

"MiX Telematics has exhibited business dexterity and acumen in service
packaging, making it the ideal service provider to fleets of all sizes that
cater to different industry verticals including oil and gas, transportation and
construction," notes Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Karthik Elamvaluthi.
"Strategic partnerships with technology leaders such as Continental, Microsoft,
Garmin and Wavecom have enabled the company to continuously upgrade existing
products and introduce new ones, while constantly enhancing value to customers."
