Suzlon founders sell $110 mln in shrs at 87 rupees each

HONG KONG May 25 (Reuters) - The founders of Indian wind turbine maker Suzlon Energy Ltd (SUZL.BO) raised about $110 million by selling 60 million existing shares, according to a term sheet, a steeper discount than earlier planned.

The sellers placed the shares at 87 rupees each, below the earlier range of 91.2-94 each, for a discount of 7.5 percent to their Friday close of 94.1 rupees. Citigroup (C.N) handled the deal. (US$=47.325 rupees) (Reporting by Tony Munroe)
