Credit Agricole seen merging consumer credit units--report

PARIS May 27 (Reuters) - France's Credit Agricole SA (CAGR.PA) has decided to merge its two consumer credit units Sofinco and Finaref, Le Figaro.fr reported on Wednesday.

According to the website of French daily Le Figaro, the plan , which was presented to workers committees on Wednesday, would entail 200 job cuts out of a workforce of over 4,000 and could save some 75 million euros.
