STAMFORD, Conn., May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Tradition Energy, one of the nation's
largest energy management advisors, today announced that they've been selected
as a Choice Hotels International Qualified Vendor.

"We select our Qualified Vendors based on they key benefits they offer our
franchisees," said Paul Payette, Senior Director, Procurement Services, Choice
Hotels International. "Hotels, on average, consume 13.5 kWh per square foot
annually, so it's a significant operating expense. Tradition Energy has the
experience, the market knowledge and the energy supplier relationships to
simplify the procurement process and help our franchisees manage their energy
expenditures."

As the energy advisor among the Qualified Vendors, Tradition Energy joins
companies like American Express, Coca-Cola, Kraft Foods, and Thomasville
Furniture. The role of Qualified Vendors is to build relationships that
provide quality products and services at competitive prices, and to assist
franchisees in solving common operational problems.

"We're so pleased to be working with Choice as a Qualified Vendor," said Alan
Kurzer, President, Tradition Energy. "Over the past year, we've experienced
unprecedented volatility in the energy markets, and now we're seeing prices at
six-year lows. It's the perfect time for hotel operators to re-evaluate their
energy management plans, capture some savings and control costs."

Choice Hotels International is the second largest hotel company in the world,
with over 73 million domestically occupied room nights annually. The Choice
family comprises 10 distinctive brands positioned from economy to mid-upscale
