OKLAHOMA CITY, May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- These days, whether it's free pancakes
from IHOP, free sub sandwiches from Quiznos, or Free Roast beef sandwiches
from Arby's, restaurants are doing their part given the current state of the
economy. One local chain has pulled out all the stops, offering TV commercial
viewers a free hamburger, with no strings attached. Unlike some free food
promotions that restrict people to certain times and places, or require an
equal purchase, Shorty Small's full service restaurants have done away with
all of that. There is a one burger per table limit, but absolutely no
purchase is required, all you have to do is go into Shorty Small's restaurant
and proclaim, "Give me the Burger, Baby!" to get the free burger between now
and June 10th, while supplies last.

"We are looking to help people in our area afford to go out, both with the
free burger offer, as well as with our really low prices," said Paul Kreth,
President of Shorty Small's restaurants. "We have over 20 entrees for under
$10 - and everything is made fresh from scratch in our restaurants as opposed
to being brought in already made and frozen. This free burger offer is one
more way we are living up to our promise of being small on price but big on
taste. I would put our burger up against anyone's for best burger around. In
fact, if you don't think so I'll give you your money back," joked Kreth.

Shorty Small's restaurants feature good food and big fun with full service
locations in Little Rock, Arkansas, Branson, Missouri, Wichita, Kansas and
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They are known for their Jumpin-Off-The-Bone
Tender(R) BBQ ribs and, as self-proclaimed, the world's largest Chicken Fried
Steak - as well as lots of other traditional comfort food. And comfort is
something we can all use a bit more of these days!

Shorty Small's free burger offer is limited to one free burger per table, with
no additional purchase necessary, and ends on June 10th or when the run out
of hamburger meat...although they are prepared to give away thousands of
burgers in the period. For more information about Shorty Small's, go to their
