Company Opens New Offices in Texas and Indiana POST FALLS, Idaho--(Business Wire)-- Command Center, Inc. (OTCBB: CCNI), an emerging provider of on-demand, reliable labor solutions, today announced revenue of $3.9 million for the four-week reporting period of May 2009. This is an increase of more than eight percent over the revenue of $3.6 million recorded in the previous month. Revenue for the 52 company-owned stores in May `09 was down from the $6.6 million recorded by the 72 stores in May `08. However, the company said that in 2008, management had anticipated a decrease in sales continuing into the first half of this year as a result of the slowing economy, and "began to implement a series of major cost-cutting and cost-management programs to bring expenses more in line with a reduced revenuebase. As a result, the bottom-line results were considerably more favorable in May `09 than May `08." According to Command`s Chairman and CEO, Glenn Welstad, "We are beginning to see more and more positive signs suggesting an upturn in our business outlook - and operating results. Revenue and margins continue to improve and costs have stabilized. The process of getting `lean and mean` to weather this economic storm has actually strengthened our operating efficiencies and forced each branch office to broaden its attention on sales and developing customer relationships. We expect revenue to grow and profitability to improve as we maintain a sharp focus on the operations of each and every store." Mr. Welstad noted that Command opened two new offices in May `09 in Hammond, Indiana and Mesquite (Dallas), Texas at the request of large national accounts with existing business operations. The Company also expects that three or more additional branches will be opened in the next 30-60 days, also to service existing business operations of national accounts. Mr. Welstad continued, "Weare fortunate to be in a position where we can open new offices on this kind ofstrategic basis, adding to our revenue growth without taking unnecessary risks."
