Biofuel Leader Qteros Introduces Experienced Leaders to Key Positions

Dr. Kevin Gray to become new Chief Technology Officer; Dr. Anthony J. Tether
will serve on Board of Directors
MARLBOROUGH, Mass., May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Massachusetts-based biofuel company
Qteros, whose breakthrough Q Microbe(TM) technology turns biomass into
cellulosic ethanol, today welcomed Dr. Kevin Gray and Dr. Anthony J. "Tony"
Tether to the Qteros leadership team. Dr. Gray brings outstanding biofuels
industry knowledge and experience as Chief Technology Officer. Dr. Tether
brings decades of experience managing advanced technological development to
the Qteros Board of Directors.

Gray most recently served as senior director of biofuels research and
development for biotech company Verenium Corporation. He brings more than two
decades of experience in managing high-level research at Diversa Corporation,
Energy BioSystems Corporation, and Verenium.

Tether recently retired from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency
(DARPA), the central research and development office for the U.S. Department
of Defense, where he served as director from 2001 to 2009. Tether previously
led The Sequoia Group, an organization he founded, which provides program
management and strategy development services to government and industry. He
has also served as Chief Executive Officer for Dynamics Technology Inc., and
helped found Systems Control Inc. Tether will join former U.S. Representative
Marty Meehan, who has served on the Qteros board since December 2008.
