Illinois Lottery giving away $35K every weekday this summer to celebrate the
35th anniversary

CHICAGO, May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Illinois Lottery is keeping dreams alive and
kickin' this summer for players who submit $35 worth of current non-winning
tickets. To celebrate its 35th anniversary, the Lottery is awarding players
$35,000 every day! Each Monday through Friday, beginning June 16, the
Illinois Lottery will draw a daily winner from a group of qualifying entries
to receive $35,000 - a total of 60 cash prizes will be awarded.

"We'll be giving an unprecedented number of players the opportunity to fulfill
a fantasy this summer," said Sarah Cummins, Illinois Lottery Director of
Marketing. "Plus, you'll see us across the state throughout the summer at
festivals and events for players to win additional prizes."

Players can visit the Lottery booth at summer festivals to win premium items
and cash prizes. You can find the Lottery at Blues Fest June 12-14, The Taste
of Chicago June 26 and the Illinois State Fair in Springfield held August 13 -
August 23, as well as many other locations throughout Illinois.

Between now and August 28, 2009, players can submit as many entries as they
wish, and may win more than one prize in the promotion.

To enter, players must submit $35 worth of current non-winning Illinois
Lottery tickets including both instant and online games. Online games include
Lotto, Little Lotto, Pick 3 and Pick 4, with purchase dates from May 15, 2009,
through August 28, 2009, or current, non-winning Illinois Lottery instant

To enter, players have two options:
Option #1 - Enter Online:
Enter via www.IllinoisLottery.com by registering $35 in qualifying non-winning
current non-winning tickets. Players should click on the 35th Anniversary
Promotion link at the top of the homepage to learn more.

Option #2 - Enter by Mail:
Send in $35 in qualifying current non-winning tickets with the player's name,
address and phone number on the back of each non-winning entry ticket and sign
at least one ticket to:
