Executive Edge Forum to Offer Workshops for Job Seekers

NEW YORK, May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- A series of one-day, interactive workshops
will be offered periodically, beginning Wednesday, June 17, for out-of-work
executives, as well as those who are employed but feel their jobs are at risk.

Executive Edge Forum is designed to help executives help themselves by gaining
an honest, accurate assessment of where their skills and experiences may have
value for employers and learning strategies that will enhance their job
search.

The day-long program will touch on all major aspects of a thorough search for
new employment, including self-appraisal, market assessment, personal
branding, job targeting, resume writing, effective outreach, successful
interviewing skills, negotiations and decision-making. The program will also
feature a one-hour panel session with senior HR leaders of Fortune 500
companies, such as Time Warner and Brookfield Properties.

"Presenters will address these important topics in a highly interactive
delivery mode that stimulates questions from the audience," says Garry Nelson,
PhD, a member of the Executive Edge Forum faculty. "Our aim is create the
feeling of a seminar in which everyone participates in the discussion and
walks away with a better understanding of how they can gain a competitive
advantage in a challenging job market."

The programs will be held at the AMA Conference Center at 1601 Broadway, 8th
floor, New York City (entrance on 48th Street).

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. The program will run from 9 a.m. to 4
p.m. and includes a networking lunch session.

Fee for the program is $349 in advance and $395 at the door.  In addition to
June 17, the program will be given July 23 and September 23.

The faculty of Executive Edge Forum consists of human capital executives with
100 years of cumulative work experience in fields such as Human Resources
management, retained executive search consulting and executive and
communications coaching.  They include:

    --  Garry Nelson, formerly Managing Director,  Human Resources for Global
        Investment Banking at JP Morgan Chase, and currently an HR consultant
        and executive coach;
    --  Eric Goldstein, Partner of Rhodes Associates, a retained executive
        search consulting firm specializing in the commercial real estate and
        financial service industries; and


    --  John A. Higgins, formerly Partner in Charge of Development and
Strategy
        for CTPartners, a global executive search firm, and currently a
        communications and presentation coach.
