COLUMBUS, OH, May 27 (MARKET WIRE) --
Industry leading communications provider Twenty First Century
Communications today announced the availability of Mobile Outage
Reporting unveiled at CS Week 2009.
Now, with the addition of Mobile Outage Reporting to TFCC's industry
standard High Volume Call Answering service, utility customers will be
able to report a power outage on their mobile devices using a website
designed specifically for mobile devices. It is another way TFCC helps
enhance utility customer service.
A May 2008 "Mobile Internet Usage and Attitudes Study" of wireless device
users by dotMobi and AKQA showed that 56% of participants considered
mobile Internet access to be 'Very Important' or 'Important.' A full 84%
of participants said they would be interested in knowing whether certain
sites are easily accessible via the Internet on their mobile phones.
