CommonBond Communities' 'Open Doors' Display Opens Eyes - and Hearts - to the
Need for Affordable Housing at Friday's Fundraising Gala

ST. PAUL, Minn., May 27 /PRNewswire/ --

WHAT:  Five brightly colored doors representing the 4,000 homes CommonBond
Communities plans to build or preserve in the next five years make their way
to the Minneapolis Depot on Friday for CommonBond's 11th annual fundraising
gala. 

The 'Open Doors' created for CommonBond by BBDO have been "touring" the Twin
Cities since last fall to raise awareness about the growing need for
affordable housing. CommonBond hopes the thousands of downtown professionals
who saw the doors in the Minneapolis skyway system at the AT&T, 5th Street and
Capella Towers and other locations will attend the gala and be motivated to
donate to this important cause.

WHEN:  Friday, May 29, 20096 - 11 p.m.

a rap song they wrote themselves.  Live auction and band ends the evening.
