Cartier Resources Inc. Files a Supplement to its Management Information Circular

  VAL-D'OR, QUEBEC, May 27 (MARKET WIRE) -- 
Cartier Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: ECR) (the "Company") announces that
it has filed on www.sedar.com a supplement to its management information
circular dated April 24, 2009. The purpose of this supplement is to
provide information on executive compensation in accordance with the
requirement of the new Form 51-102 F6 - Statement of Executive
Compensation under Regulation 51-102 on continuous disclosure obligations
in force for the financial years ending on or after December 31, 2008.

    The information supplement includes a new format and additional content
for the Summary Compensation Table, including disclosure of the total
dollar value of all compensation paid to the Named Executive Officers,
including the dollar value of options-based awards.

    The supplement also includes discussion and analysis of the executive
compensation and is supplemented by new tables setting out all
compensation provided to each director during the most recently completed
financial year.
