PHOENIX, May 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- During the month of May, Arizona
American Water customers will receive an annual water quality report, inserted
with their monthly water bill. The reports, which are required for all
community water systems in the United States by the Environmental Protection
Agency, aim to educate customers about where their water comes from and what
is in it.

"Our customers are our top priority, and we are committed to providing them
with the highest quality drinking water and service," said Paul Townsley,
president of Arizona American Water. "We're also committed to providing the
infrastructure replacements and improvements needed to deliver trusted water
service and stay ahead of new regulations now and for years to come."

Annual water quality reports provide detailed information about each
community's drinking water source and the results of testing and measurements
for compounds found in the drinking water. However, Arizona American Water
tests for more than 100 different constituents. The reports contain data for
water provided in the previous calendar year.

Renters who do not receive a water bill are encouraged to access the reports
online. Customers with questions concerning their water quality report are
encouraged to contact Arizona American Water at: 1-888-237-1333 or the
Environmental Protection Agency Safe Drinking Water Hotline at:
1-800-426-4791.
