Attorney General Eric Holder to Participate in G8 Justice Ministerial in Rome

WASHINGTON, May 27 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Attorney General Eric Holder travels to Rome, Italy today for the G8 Justice and Home Affairs Ministerial. He will hold bilateral meetings with his foreign counterparts in addition to participating in the G8 meetings. Thursday, May 28, 2009 The Attorney General will meet with Italian Justice Minister Angelino Alfano, Italian Interior Minister Roberto Maroni and Canadian Justice Minister Robert Nicholson. The Attorney General will also participate in a ceremony for the exchange of Instruments of Ratification for U.S.-Italian Extradition and Mutual Legal Assistance Treaties and a signing ceremony for the U.S.-Italian Agreement to Prevent and Combat Serious Crime.
