Adds to SDI`s Growing List of Quality Certifications

Strategic Diagnostics Inc. (NASDAQ:SDIX), today announced that American Systems
Registrar, an ANAB Accredited International Registrar for the ISO 9001
standards, recently granted Strategic Diagnostics an ISO 9001:2000 certification
for all five of the Company`s facilities. Recognized and respected worldwide,
ISO 9001:2000 standards are put forth by the International Organization for
Standardization (ISO). 

The ISO 9001:2000 standard offers a template for the development and operation
of a business management system that is dynamic and flexible, focused on
exceeding the needs of customers and suppliers alike.
